Chocolate Fudge Cake

Chocolate Fudge Cake | Rating: 4/5 | Difficulty: Hard

This cake is wonderful, with more flavour then the chocolate cake. When you bite it you meet barely any resistance, and your teeth just sink in. 

Makes: 1. Prep Time: 20 mins. Cook Time: 35-45 mins.

Ingredients:

225g of margarine/butter
1 cup (250mls) of water
3 tbsp (heaped) of cocoa powder
2 cups sugar
2 cups plain flour
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
1 tsp bicarb soda
1/2 cup milk

Method: 

1. Heat butter, water, and cocoa until melted.
2. Then mix in the sugar, flour, and salt.
3. Add the vanilla, eggs, bicarb soda, and milk.
4. Pour into a greased cake tin, and bake in a moderate oven for 35-45 minutes until cooked.

Chocolate Icing


Ingredients:

85g butter
3 tbsp cocoa
85g icing sugar

Method: 

1. Cream together ingredients, then spread on cake.
