Pizza Scrolls

Pizza Scrolls/Snails | Rating: 4/5 | Difficulty: Easy

These scrolls are an amazing party food, and are easy to make and cook. It is a relaxing recipe that you are able to freeze and change the recipes.

Makes: 20. Prep Time: 10 mins. Cook Time: 10 mins.

Ingredients:

For the dough (or you can instead use defrosted puff pastry):

1 cup SR flour
1/3 cup thickened cream
1/3 cup lemonade

For the topping:

1 tbsp tomato paste
25g ham, chopped
1 mushroom, diced
1/4 cup capsicum, diced
1/2 cup cheese, grated

 Method:

1. Preheat oven to 180-200°C.
2. Tip flour into the bowl, add the cream and lemonade and mix with the spatula.
3. Put dough on bench and roll until about ½ cm thick, but don’t over roll, as this makes it tough.
4. Using the spatula, smooth out the tomato paste over the dough, then place remaining toppings, right to the edge.
5. Then, roll up the pizza, and cut each slice a fingers width apart. Place baking paper on the tray and place each slice a reasonable distance from each other to allow for rising.
6. Place in oven for 10 to 12 minutes.
7. Take out and allow to cool.
